MEET DAN
Dan Covert is an Integrative Health & Fitness Coach who specializes in helping men overcome obstacles with optimizing their hormones and hormone replacement protocols that conventional healthcare models often fail to resolve. His expertise and passion were born out of overcoming his own health challenges and being failed repeatedly by providers, and his greatest strength lies in connecting dots across all aspects of holistic wellness to uncover and address root cause-issues that are often overlooked.
WHAT STARTED IT ALL
Beginning his career as a Personal Trainer over 12 years ago, Dan quickly realized that chronic joint pain was preventing many of his clients as well as himself from making consistent progress in the gym, and conventional physical therapy approaches weren’t helping.
This led him on a quest to train with, study under, and intern alongside some of the world's foremost experts in rehab and performance training, including Eric Cressey, Mike Boyle, and Dr. Charlie Weingroff. Dan became a Certified Functional Strength Coach and eliminated all of his joint pain to achieve peak results in the gym, while helping countless clients do the same.
THE TURNING POINT: UNEXPECTED HEALTH CHALLENGES
As his career and his own health and wellness journey evolved, Dan encountered unexpected challenges involving hormones and other aspects of his health that began affecting his physique, his energy, and his overall performance and mental well-being.
Despite seeking help from multiple providers across various disciplines of medicine, he found his issues unresolved. Dan immersed himself once again in several more years of advanced studying, becoming a student and client of world-renowned hormone expert Dave Lee. This led him to learn how to take charge of his own treatment protocols and fully-optimize his overall health and wellness.
A REFINED APPROACH TO HORMONE OPTIMIZATION
Dan’s relentless pursuit led him to uncovering critical errors and gaps in the way mainstream medicine approaches hormone optimization and replacement protocols, while gaining a deep knowledge of how various systems in the body interact to develop an integrative, individualized approach that utilizes elements of endocrinology, neuroscience, exercise science, kinesiology, and nutrition.
Today, he regularly works with and consults for clients and providers alike all over the world, helping men systematically optimize their holistic health and wellness, performance, and overall quality of life.
